Description
The vest in this option is created using Deluxe Wool
At Shane Ave we use Super S130 in our Deluxe Range
Super 130 (S130) is perfect for special occasions. S130 is a denser and lighter weight fabric making it warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
The S number on suit fabrics represents the number of times the wool has been twisted. As a general rule of thumb is the higher the number, the finer the cloth will be:
- The higher Super S count often means a smoother texture and can appear more luxurious.
- Lower S number fabrics ie: S100 the cloth will have a coarser texture and is generally heavier and warmer while S130 will be lighter in weight yet still provide you with warmth in winter and offer a cooler feel in summer.
What is the difference between Super S130 and Super S110 Wool?
Both S110 and S130 use worsted medium weight wool yarn which is manufactured through a process that separates the long strong fibres from a bundle of wool and spins/twists them into the yarn used to make suiting material.
The S number on suit fabrics represents the number of times the wool has been twisted. As a general rule of thumb is the higher the number, the finer the cloth will be:
- The S-number also indicates the thickness of the fibre as defined in the IWTO Super S Code of Practice.
- Each S-number correlates to a maximum fibre diameter measured in micrometers.
N.b. Fiber diameters are measured from the finished, dyed fabric.
